West Recycling are a significant business within the global recycling market with strong relationships and a growing presence across a number of continents, particularly the Far East.
They are unique in the source and delivery of a wide range of materials, particularly within their core business of trading non-ferrous metals and it was the right time to develop a website with global appeal to their ever growing client base.
We were tasked with creating a brand mark, stationery suite and mobile responsive CMS website, integrated with social media, for this family-owned global business with offices in Barcelona and Corby, trading and delivering recycled materials, non-ferrous and ferrous metals, as well as paper and plastics, with an emphasis on family and succession to add personality and depth.
We began by thoroughly researching both the business and its market, creating a gold and red colour palette - luck, prosperity and wealth - specifically for the growth area of the Asian market, while creating a brand mark with global appeal, incorporating an abbreviated trading name and enhancing immediate recognition.
We applied richer content, emphasising history, family and succession within the business, adding personality.
We brought in consistent photography of recycling materials throughout a contemporary responsive website with a strong CMS, fully integrated with social media.
