They had a requirement for their current website to be made mobile-responsive whilst retaining all the functionality and design. More importantly, being an affiliate for numerous holiday companies, it was imperative that any CTIs, discount codes and pricing tables continued to function, along with maintaining their enviable Google rankings.
The Seventy9 Content Management System was formulated into a bespoke database which could handle the complexity of thousands of individual holidays (all of which require constant price updates and itinerary amends), operator information, country details and brochure requests.
It was essential that Seventy9 could migrate all the current information across to the newly-built CMS. Once the back-end had been built, an import was written to bring across all the operator information and images. This content could now be easily amended through the new CMS ready for launch.
Seventy9 redeveloped its image galleries and image cropper to give Travel55 an easy to use module to organise the hundreds of images required on a leading holiday website. A further pricing tables module with an easy holiday search facility allows the client to quickly amend holidays and get them live instantly.
The CMS has an htaccess module to handle redirects which can be easily modified by Travel55 and uploaded directly to their website along with automatic sitemap generation and submission to Google.
The result, a new visually appealing, mobile-responsive, CMS-driven website featuring digitally-led functionality that has increased search engine traffic, whilst not losing any of its indexed-rankings.
