Decotel is a highly regarded wholesale supplier to the hospitality industry and had a requirement for a sales platform to promote their seasonal products. The website was to be brightly coloured and show off their fabulous range of high quality Christmas crackers and party novelties. Whilst an ecommerce element formed the basis of the website, it could be changed to quotation/enquiry only status.
Full screen, brightly coloured, themed hero images are coupled with a streamer image background giving the website a fun, party feel. With its clear navigation of product categories and clear instruction to purchase, the website is quick and easy to use; whether from the office desktop or last minute ordering on a mobile. The added Christmas clock countdown reminds you to order before it’s too late!
The Seventy9 CMS allows for the quick input of new products as well as imports of current product databases. The ecommerce element allows an individual product to appear in multiple categories, discounts to be applied, individual client pricing to be shown on login and registration of customers for future login.
It is essential that product information was shown clearly and concisely so customers knew they were buying from a wholesale, bulk website. Descriptions and specifications are easy and quick to upload. Pricing is easy to update and can be published immediately.
