Seventy9 are looking for an ambitious Web Developer to join their expanding web team. Working closely with other members of the web team, the successful applicant must possess the right mix of skill and enthusiasm with which to succeed in this fast moving role; a genuine interest in web development is a must.
Skills
Applicants should possess two years experience in a design agency or design focused environment, developing dynamic, CMS driven websites and web applications using the following technologies;
- Microsoft .Net Framework; ASP.Net 2.0 or above, VB.Net
- Hand-coded (x)HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Relational Database Technologies; Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or above
Experience of any of the following technologies and software packages would be advantageous;
- Microsoft Visual Web Developer / Visual Studio
- ASP.Net Ajax / AJAX, jQuery or other JavaScript framework
- Adobe graphics packages; Photoshop, Illustrator
- W3C Web Standards, Accessibility and Search Engine Marketing
Duties
Working as part of the web team the successful applicant will be involved in the full life cycle of client projects, from initial conceptualisation, through specification, development and testing. The role will incorporate development of new code and the maintenance of existing projects. Applicants will work with other developers, designers, account handlers and the clients themselves to utilise their skills and experience to transform client visions in to leading-edge websites.
